Right? As I'm reading this headline, it's like "Russia is doing a thing to Germany, with the permission of the USA"- is Germany not an independent nation? Wtf does the USA have to do with this decision?

If the Russians negotiated a deal with the Germans, why are we putting man hours(tax dollars) into getting involved?!
