Look up what inherent means in the dictionary and you might notice something.
There is no such thing as inherent value. There is only one kind of value and it is subjective.
I didn't say btc scarcity didn't count. Indeed it is valuable. And its scarcity counts. In fact it is deflating. The demand is rising faster than the supply thus it is being valued higher.
So it is close.
That's like saying food doesn't exist. You are not understanding what intrinsic or inherent means.
Sure food exists, it still has subjective value though: Try selling a guy a pizza after he's won an eating competition. Try buying the last slice from a guy who hasn't eaten in three days.
Food exists. Just not food with calories.
