Im pretty sure 50% of people on food stamps could do with an actual diet. So many of them are lardasses
That. 22.00 a day? I could eat like a king. And be healthy. And build a pantry.
I think i spent 60$ a week on groceries, and that's buying meat and veggies. Some could state initial cost of pots, and pans and stock items could always be an issue, but you can get this stuff at a goodwill for like 1$ a piece. Sure they wont be new, but who cares? You don't need a state of the art kitchen to make a sandwich
Egg- zackly.
Depends on how poor you are. I grew up in an extreme poverty situation. When I was in my 20s, I lived in someone's unheated garage without running water. No refrigerator. No bathroom. No hot plate. I did have a microwave and used it to heat up a quart of water at a time to have a sponge bath.
Yes, you can make a peanut butter sandwich under these conditions but your ingredients will not last long. Jelly gets moldy without being refrigerated. And forget about lunch meat or mayo or cheese of any of that.
It's very hard to be extremely poor.
Please, the kikes and niggers will kvetch if papa government doesn't literally lift the spoon and put the food in their mouths.
Even without all that you can get a rotisserie chicken for like $7. Toss in some frozen mixed veggies and you got a cheap healthy meal for the whole family. Nothing pisses me off more than when I see ppl complain that they can't eat well because it costs too much.
