More liberal double-speak. It's the same way they describe social issues, like "falling literacy rates" and "declining income." They're experts as misdirection and misleading. In the case of falling literacy rates, it's not that our schools are becoming less effective at teaching kids to read, or that there's some mass poisoning happening to make kids dumber. The problem is that we're importing illiterate third world peasants by the millions, and they're procreating far more rapidly. That means the portion of the population that is illiterate increases directly because of liberals' open borders policies. The same goes for household income figures.

What does this have to do with college-educated voters and the GOP? Because of affirmative action, social promotion, grade inflation, and the war on boys there are more women and more "minorities" in college than there used to be. Presto! More college-educated liberal voters.

So a more accurate way to describe the phenomenon that NBC is reporting might be: Affirmative action succeeds in reducing the proportion of white male college graduates.
