Fuck, I saw all of the boats heading over there while on my way to work and had no idea what was going on. I would’ve been in it as well. I am sooooo surprised there was no mention on the local Tampa Bay Area news stations until afterwards. And all they said was it was immoral and a superspreader event (but the Bucs and Lightning boat parades for their championship with 10fold more people was quite acceptable....). The local Gasparilla crews served the young Republicans with a cease and desist regarding using the generic Gasparilla name and tried to block the parade from happening.
