I wonder sometimes what will happen over the next few years, or decade.

Depends if its mostly liberals or conservatives leaving.

How will those remaining change things?

Will there be a recovery and some type of person starts moving in?

Has to hit rock bottom sometime, but will it be in our lifetime.

Haven't heard much talk about the state splitting in a while. Everyone gave up on it?
