I think the real test is how small donations to the Republiwon't party and candidates turn out in this election cycle. To put a positive spin on it we should be able to measure voter confidence in elections by an above-trend amount of giving to the Stupid Party in their 2022 race against the Evil Party. When the Republican small donations (frequency, not aggregate amount) drop off, then we'll know that, "Everybody knows that everybody knows," that political solutions are on back-order in the United States.
