I once asked a LEO "what gives you the right to search my vehicle and make a mess of it? Are you going to clean up after yourself and put everything back nice?"

Of course he said "I have the authority, and no, I will not"

I then asked "who GIVES you authority to hurt me and waste my time? I certainly don't want to hurt you"

He was speachless and told me to be on my way.

Ever since that encounter I have been wondering if no man has authority to begin with, how can man give it to someone else?

Who gave them that authority? Does a nig nog have the authority to rob you for walking past them? Does the joo have the authority to make you their slave? Does a clown in a police uniform have the authority to kidnap and imprison you in a cage? You have done nothing to these people. Surely the man behind that screen wouldn't let himself be man handled like that.

You did, collectively, with the rest of society.

No. YOU are allowed though, to punch the nig nog in the mouth, or kick him in the nuts, for attempting to rob you.

No, you would have to volunteer for that job, by allowing it to happen.

No, he does have the authority, though, to arrest you for acting like an asshole, if you hassle him.

Perhaps not personally, but by breaking the law, you get the privilege of their attention.
