I'm not following the logic here. The problem isn't access to the Red Sea. It's about bypassing the long transit around Africa between Europe and Asia. Only the Suez grants that. Israel doesn't have a canal that does this.

Now if you're saying Israel would disrupt a large shipping lane for political gain of some sort, yeah I can see them doing that.
