Actually true. Was talking to a geneticist a few (10) years ago and he gave me the example of Eskimos living quite well on whale fat, which you couldn't do.
I asked him if us burgers would be fine in a few hundred years with McDonalds and he just gave me the look. Apparently this stuff takes thousands of years of natural selection to pan out.
I will tend to agree if it was 10 years ago but I would redirect your attention to gut bacteria. The process that takes thousands of years is the development of the specific combination of gut bacteria that is passed from mother to child.

I still think they could drink cow's milk if they ate shit from people of European origin with a history of drinking cow's milk. But they can more easily drink goat or sheep's milk which are more common in africa
