Democracy works for 50.1% of the population. The other 49.9% gets left behind. How do you remain in the 50.1% when the competition is stiff, when people are willing to kill to stay in the club. Democracy never works when half of the population is ignored. You may be a conservative today but when you see your livelihood slipping away ; you may decide liberal policies aren't all that bad. you learn to bob and weave. as do the other 49.9%. Make wise choices.
