The tapes are real. However, the FBI has them and they won’t be released until 2027. I’m guessing that the tapes will be “lost” or “destroyed in a fire” before then, however. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7084749/amp/TOM-LEONARD-probes-troubling-truth-shaming-Martin-Luther-King.html
