Yes, scott adams (love him or hate him) made the point today that the people we are looking to for reform (the subject was the election) were put in place by the broken system. We need a way to put forward "the system does not represent us" without using the legal/political system; I don't really know what that looks like outside of a war. solzhenitsyn also talked about how laws will become out of control and quickly stop representing morality (there is a better way to put it, but you get what i'm saying).
