well, homeschooled before getting a doctorate or whatever was similar during that time. higher institutions like Harvard and Notre Dame have become continuations of the day care centers that are high school and before.

Unless you are ready to take to the streets, the first course of action is to call out bad behavior. Loudly.

Hunt down your local teacher union presidents, then start harassing them to open schools. Then complain to their state union president, then to this lady. Seriously. If everyone does this, it will make a difference. Several home towns doing this are crushing their local unions.
