Wokeness doesn't have to be a religion. Its tenets conflict with some very popular religious beliefs such as: there are two genders, and homosexuality is sinful. Being forced to deny that there are two genders or to celebrate homosex is religious persecution. Calling a man a woman, even at their request, is still bearing false witness against your neighbor. This violates a commandment.
