Hmm, that’s a possible explanation. But to be frank, it really does not matter. Intelligence is damn important, but it’s not the end-all-be-all.

While high IQ has a high correlation with success, the only high IQ people that have success have a stack of skills attached to the intelligence quotient.

You need ego, vision, clear thinking and a whole bunch of other things to really succeed.

Otherwise high IQ is just a specialization much like being tall is a specialization or being fast, mechanically intelligent or a brutal killer during war.

It means something, but not as much as people think.

Exactly. Having a society of hyperintelligent autists with a lack of creativity and, say, no cooperative skills won’t lead anywhere.
