In the future, there has been speculation that all our work will be done by robots, and we will all stay at home drawing a government welfare check. The elite has been testing this idea with the Covid welfare checks and the guaranteed income pilot programs.
But how does one man ascend in the pecking order over another man, if they both get the same amount in government welfare?
The idea occurred to me -- the labor value of a number of worker robots could be assigned to an individual based on social merit scores. There would be a base number of robotic worker units assigned to everyone, of course, and then a bonus for higher social scores ... for being a "good boy" in the eyes of the government.
Thus, Mr. Smith could receive the income of five robot workers (or robotic work units), which is the base subsistance amount, whereas good citizen Mr. Jones would receive the income equivalent to the work value of eleven robot workers, because he was a good little communist and ratted on his neighbor's black market business. Really important people, the kind the Party likes, could receive the work value equivalent of hundreds of robotic worker units.
In this way, our structured liberal-fascist society, with them at the top of the pyramid, pissing and shitting down on us, and with us at the bottom of the pyramid, holding out our hands and opening our mouths like little baby birds to receive their largesse, could be extended into a future world in which only robots performed the labor.
I saw it in a vision that came to me in a flash. A dream to some -- a nightmare to others.
