Our forefathers were the children of men that admitted their entire continent was lost and freedom was impossible unless they fled across the planet to a literal no mans land and built a new civilization out of nothing before even thinking about resisting that same power militarily. And then only lasted like 12 years before their entire legal structure (articles of confederation) were illegally just thrown out by a jewish immigrant son of a slave trader that had only been in the country for 8 years. And had them replaced with a constitution so full of fuckery that they had to ad a bill of rights just to convince themselves they didn’t already just declare everyone a new kind of slave.
