The founding principals are indeed very socialist in nature. But the bankers have taken over and ruined everything. Canada was very socialist similar to NS Germany and also did not suffer from the depression other than burden of American capitalist collapse. Not surprisingly the US plotted to invade after their economic failure. And have invaded every socialist (not communist) nation since. It is amazing people don't see the patterns.
