But do they actually want it? As an illegal in a sanctuary city, they can work and pay no income tax. They collect welfare because they have no legal job. They receive free medical care at the nearest emergency room. They are not prosecuted for process crimes as they can't be identified. They can commit violent crime and just move to another location without being tracked. Why would they give all that up to become a US citizen.
