I wonder how much Texas contributes to the federal government in taxes. Maybe some of that should come back when they need something - as if we had a co-op or Union or something where every individual contributed to a fund to provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty. I've never been a big fan of Cruz, but he is the representative in DC and DC is behind some of the problems, notably Biden's EO throttling the power grid and giving China back access. There is more going on than is being portrayed and Cruz probably knows this and if he doesn't he should. I get the feeling he removed himself from the scene. No politician in his right mind takes off on vacation during an emergency in the area they represent. Something stinks.
