And that is the problem with the two-party system. You vote in the democrats on the sole basis of what they promised to do, then once elected, they refuse to make good. You vote in the republicans on the sole basis of what they promised to do, then once elected, they refuse to make good. All a con job, with zero accountability to us, and zero consequences for the lying liars. Ever wonder why it is that when the democrats have power they invariably play kiss-ass to the republicans, and when the republicans have the reins of power they invariably play kiss-ass to the democrats? Makes one wonder just how much of a con job it all is!
