Well, not all. Look for example at cossack and other eastern european dances, they are extremely hard and you need to have peak phisique to engage in them. Also dancing is a part of tradition and by dancing you express your culture i don't mean the kind retarded bullshit shown in what OP posted. Traditional dances were a way to bond with your people.
