When I think about all the people in nursing homes that on one cares about this claim is plausible. The decent nursing homes don't properly care for people who get regular visitors. Not hard to believe nursing homes in NYC owned by african immigrants killing residents to keep their government contracts.

The only reason a politician would take responsibility is if they were told to do so by their owners. Most likely the insurance companies having to pay for the mess are looking towards some sort of government culpability to offset their financial obligations.

To clarify, I agree that they’re allowing this story to get out to push an agenda - they want to make covid seem more serious than it actually is. With that being said, why would they deny food and water? I’d imagine they’d just let people die naturally and lie about the cause of death.
