Meh, I don't blame them for doing it for the first 2-3 months when they didn't know what was going to happen, but it's been clearly nonsense for more than half a year.
Everyone is putting non fitted woven textile over their mouths to pretend it makes them and others immune to a viral infection. And our government disease agencies pushed this pseudoscience bullshit.

Yeah, but remember, most people aren’t as sharp as you are or as aware as you are that we are lied to every day by the institutions that many people trust. I try, no matter how frustrated I get, to give some people the benefit of the doubt. I’ve got friends that work very hard and spend every minute they can with their kids and working on projects, fixing up their house, and they are so unaware of how dishonest the media is, and government, etc.
I know that’s on them but I try to cut them some slack. I am a horrible horrible human being but at least try to have some patience, it’s the only thing I have left to try to still do to not be a complete piece of shit.

It is easy to become cold towards others because well fuck.... almost everyone is brain dead and doesn't seem to give a fuck. Its just sad living in a world of almost 8 billion and they're all NPCs.
But you're right, I probably should give people a little more of a break, but I also feel like that's what gets us into these situations in the first place.
