The original fight was over $600 versus $2000. $600 was sent out, so sending out $1400 dollars later on adds up to $2000. Now in their messaging they kept saying $2000 checks would be sent out, even after the $600 was sent, so sure, they were lying for marketing purposes in that respect.
But is this really the fight we should be having? It's all crumbs, anyways, to people that have been forced out of work. Do people think we can just keep printing money like Venezuela instead of putting people back to work?
