Well from a technical perspective I don’t think in a republic you can have taxation with real representation but have an up vote for visibility anyway this could make for a good discussion.

"Consent of the governed" is a much better phrase.

The Declaration of Independence says “Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”

Revoke your consent to be governed.
