Weren't they typically peaceful with each other? UAE is tied to the Saudis. It's like Saudi state project 2.0.
The Saudi's and Israel have mostly gotten along because both are invested in US presence. Both are invested in oil going from Saudi, past Golan highs, through Syria and into Turkey and Europe. They both benefit from the same pipeline project and commonly want to see it prevail.
I could see some spat developing in their specific rights in their partnership, but helping resolve such minor spats doesn't seem like a monumental peace achievement.
Nominating Trump may still make sense for keeping us out of Syria. How about Putin for lending his troops to aid the UN peacekeepers in the Central African Republic?
How about Abe of Japan for fighting the impulse to kamakazi every plane they own into China in response to corona virus? Serious restraint on that guy.
How about Kim Jung Un for reducing his stock pile of nuclear weapons, which he totally did do.
