One of the things that will be confiscated due to the Executive order will be LAND and a shitload of it. Just recently Bill Gates became the owner of the most farm land. This will all need to be sold! I would expect that this will create a new land rush. And a huge amount of income for a huge amount of families. If sold in lots and broken up. This would also create a building boom. Also Good food, not Monsanto crap. People will leave the cities in droves.

We’re already thinking of acquiring some land. We live in a southern city and with Biden president... I just want a backup plan. And, I want my husband to be able to teach our daughters to shoot on some land. Land is still cheap in comparison to the overpriced city we live now. Plus I have a feeling we won’t be vacationing to Disney the way I did as a child, or vacationing at all the way I did. I can’t even imagine taking a plane anytime soon, let alone going to the cesspool Europe has become. Flying in general, just the thought of the new levels of mindless bureaucracy involved makes my stomach churn. I feel for my kids. It looks like they’ll be those kids that don’t fly until they’re adults, which I never previously even imagined as a possibility. Both my husband and I were the types of professionals that had to drop whatever at any given moment to hop a plane to wherever. Sometimes flying weekly - like it was nothing! Now I really can’t envision flying, honestly, for at least a decade. Why would we subject ourselves if we don’t have to?

Yup, it looks like road trips and land are our future, which doesn’t sound bad at all really, especially since our whole family gets along really well, which is a miracle. Plus, our dogs are family and they can come too.

So yes, I think we’re headed that direction. All the land we’ve considered has no home on it so we’d have to build something simple. It has to be simple because I don’t clean monstrosities. And if I have to homeschool the kids, I definitely will need simplicity because my kids are super complicated.

We were originally thinking Georgia, but the political malfeasance there has terrified me. Sad really. Now we’re looking anywhere, even Wyoming. Obviously we want a Republican state where we can get real land for around $30k. It’s out there!

We have a mere 4.78 acres and none of our "children" who are adults care one bit. We are within 1/4 mi of thousands of acres of state land. They think we are nuts "at our age" to live in an old house that we constantly are fixing. Wells and septic take maintenance, trees have to be felled, snow has to be plowed..all stuff they don't want to do. They would rather wear the mask, take their vax and bitch about how they have to drive to see us. We are thinking we need more land, not less.

They did not suffer enough, life too comfy.

My father had land in the mountains, and one day, we have no other choice but to go live there. Ofc it was an awful idea and we ended up coming back to society. The point is, things got so bad, we actually did it. That stays with you. You know it can get that bad that quickly now.

There's not a fix for this, you were GOOD to prevent this sort of thing for your children, but you cant have it both ways.
