Yeah I mean plebs like us simply don't have the capital to move markets like this we simply ride the coat tails and sometimes get lucky, usually destroyed.

I was hoping it would be something sexy and cool like China or Russia trying to bring down the US markets and put the US in recession. But its probably hedge vs hedge like you say with reddit used as cover.
