People might think that it was something different because of Abe Lincoln, Silent Cal, Reagan, and Trump. Those 4 were the real "RINOs", especially Lincoln, as he spent the whole Civil War with the Republicans in Congress trying to undermine him.
Lincoln wasn't our guy, but he wanted to send the niggers out of the USA and he said that there would be no Reconstruction. Congressional Republicans wanted the niggers to stay and wanted Reconstruction. We know who won that battle of wills.
