Just got back from picking up my truck from the garage and I have another mask story. Two people working inside the office, fat bitch and a dude, masked of course. I knew it's only a matter of time before she says something. When I came in the other day to check availability, I didn't wear my mask. Spoke w/her and told her I'm sending a tow. She didn't say anything.

So I'm in there again picking up my truck, no mask. She's looking at me but not saying anything, I know she's dying to open her pie hole. I pluck out $500 cash and put it on his desk.

"Do you have a mask?" she asks. No I told her. "Let me get you one" and hands me a nice shiny black mask with the automotive logo on the side. Gee thanks I say and I proceed to fold it up nicely and put it in my pocket. Guy doesn't say shit btw. We continue to talk and she's shooting glances at me from behind her oppression shield and all the time I'm waiting for her to attempt to enforce her misdirected authority. She doesn't. Because she knows she has no fucking authority to say shit to a customer.

The last time I walked in for service without a mask was subway for some food. She point blank told me, "no mask, no service". So what's the difference here? One was a $12 meal and the other was a $500 bill from a repeat customer that's spent $1000's over the years on maintenance. One makes $12/hr at a no skill job and the other makes prob 30-40K a year. One has the exclusive right to not serve customers the other might lose her fucking job if she said the wrong thing to a client. Yes, I am the client.

After handing me the mask, what other move did she have left? She tried to exercise her bitch ways on me (not until I paid fyi) but knew full stop if she got mad, it would be unprofessional and yelling at a client is an absolute no no. So i folded it up and put it in my pocket.

Navigating this covid stuff is like a game. Knowing where you can push and where you can't. It' empowering knowing someone is trying to control you but can't because of fundamental complexities of doing business. If she opened her fat pie hole to scold me or remind me of any "policy", I would take my business elsewhere and she fucking knows it. Capitalism wins every time!

We can beat this if you play your cards right.

Just tell them you have a medical condition and can't wear a mask. They can't say shit to you lol.

I can't act. I just be myself, no need to lie and people can usually tell right away what my barriers are.

[–] 3 pts

Lies are how the world got where it is. Be honest.

[–] 2 pts

In my state, supposedly you can't use that excuse anymore because of the mass production of those retarded face Shields. I still don't wear a mask virtually anywhere I go. Legally you are supposed to wear one here, I just choose to not patronize stores that have a strict mask policy

Thats kinda tricky to find since everyone is under the same boot. Do what you can to get yourself seperate from the economy as possible. Its nothing but an enslavement system. The left knows it. So does the government. Thats why they both like to go after the money of anyone not as they prefer.

[–] 1 pt

Pussing out that way because you can't back your own principles up is just as bad.

[–] [deleted] 2 pts

Just as bad as what? Wearing a mask? Lmao no it isn't. I feel no need to be honest with these fucking retarded brainwashed NPC mask police. These are animated corpses. Slaves by their own choice. And they're trying to drag me into slavery with them. Oh, but I shouldn't lie to them because of "principles"? You and I have different principles, apparently.

If your enemy is trying to compromise your physical and mental health, destroy your livelihood, rob you of your god-given rights, and ultimately enslave you, and you're too "honorable" to even lie to them, well then good luck with that. Let me know how it works out for ya.

Hes saying tell them to fuck off instead of lying to them and saying you have a medical condition. By telling them that you have a medical condition you are compiling to the bullshit. I would wear a mask if it wasn't for this medical condition

Very nice story. I like your written swagger.

I've gotten the same glaring 'looksy' (as you did) at home depot. Usually it's just the look, but a couple of times it was a verbal -- "Care for mask?" In response, I just said-- "No thanks. Gotta breathe!" One other time in their Light Department I asked the stock person if he could call someone to assist me in finding a certain lighting fixture. He gave me a stare, and said-- "I will, but I don't know if he will assist you without a mask." My reply was-- "Okay, let's find out." In the end, there was no problem.

There were two stores that I was kicked out of because I didn't wear a mask. In addition, they ignored my exemption. As a result, I sent them an over 20 page Cease and Desist letter citing in legal jargon their violation of several laws, including the EO itself along with State and Federal Law. And as an addendum, I included all the OSHA regulations they were violating. Each of these letters received promptly a multiple page response from their attorneys explaining how I was somehow wrong. One of them, I could tell was grasping at straws and not addressing any of the laws they violated. It was a multi-page joke. In knowing the going rate of big city attorneys, these responses cost the stores well over a thousand dollars each. I could have written another letter costing them more, but I didn't. It was enough.

>My reply was-- "Okay, let's find out."

That's good. Need to pull this out in the open, let's find out.

Can I have a copy of your letter?

tell them the mask was unsealed and contaminated .
exposed to the open air it have viruses all over it

Ya at first I was just confrontational. Then I realized it's more effective to roll with it, play the duck, make it awkward for them to say anything. If you're confrontational or a smart ass, it's easy for them to say something. The key I think is to make it difficult and awkward. Remember that they are reeling inside wondering if they should say anything. People's normal default is to be non-confrontational, they don't like to do it. So, make them struggle with their internal cognitive dissonance. Knowing what's going on inside their head is the best part!

If you're confrontational or aggressive in your response, they will use that as an excuse to kick you out of the store regardless of whether you are right about not wearing a mask. Don't give them that option.

A masked bitch (another customer) freaked out at my wife the other day while she waited for her vehicle to be serviced. My wife was sitting alone drinking coffee. After the ordeal continued for a bit, the manager ended up coming out and kicking the bitch out of the service room and apologized to my wife.

Same deal here, spent thousands over the years on maintenance, vs a 20y/o who had a shit car and no history.

Push where you can every time you can, and where you can't push anyway.

Yup, you confirmed my theory. She probably got reprimanded for that and won't do it again. These kids (mostly female) are tripping cause they want to exert their power but have no concept of business2business relationships. If someone wants to give me 1000 bucks for my service, like hell am I going to let some low level staffer scold my customer. Holy smokes lol, the audacity, yer fired!

I have almost stopped shopping, even for essentials. My hair is shaggy, I'm almost out of food, and I don't care.

[–] 1 pt

With you all the way!! Haven’t been wearing mine either any place I can get away with it. Some places I avoid all together because it burns in my soul that we have to have our freedom taken from us without consent, I thank God we have a conservative Governor. That’s our only hope at the moment since this fraudulent election

Subway. What a shitty tasting sandwich anyhow. Fuck them.

Also, Good job!

Yeah why even eat there? Isn't their "meat" like 50% filler material such as SOY?

[–] 0 pt

And their bread can be defined as cake, considering how much sugar is in it.

Don't get me started on their 11-inch "foot-long" roll.

[–] 0 pt

The meat part is all turkey.

[–] 1 pt

Your next thing if she did open said pie hole would be to tell her again thank you for the logo mask, but you have to wash it before you can wear it on your face, and if it is paper, then oh...water will destroy it.

[–] 2 pts

I made a quip about them paying me royalties to walk around with their logo on my face.

[–] 1 pt

I usually wear a thin ass neck gaiterover my face because I just got sick of arguing with people. Now I'm getting those same "looks" from morons wearing not just one, but two (!) masks. It's ridiculous.

[–] 1 pt

Oh there's a lot of ridicule over the two mask gaff. Three is better! We're living in strange times.

[–] 1 pt

why not 4

[–] 0 pt

Get a buddy, have him not wear a mask at all, and you wear a ridiculous number of them. When someone stops your friend, come up and offer that someone a mask because they're only wearing one. Lecture them about how two masks protects more and with such a serious illness you're putting lives at risk by only wearing one.

That could be worked into a comedy skit. I'm cooking up a few right now.
