Brief truce, the temple gets rebuilt, war, pope stands at destroyed temple and worships Satan, persecution of Christians begins, 3.5 years later Christ returns. Most of us are dead though. Need a big nasty war and famine to kill off 1/4 of all humans in the next couple years to keep the expected timeline.
