Indeed, now we have a bunch of pre-selected individuals who rule us every 4 years and most of their reforms are immediately reversed when the next pre-selected individual comes to power. A never ending cycle of stagnation. The Revolution was a mistake.
Make no mistake, the figurehead (4/8 year "elected" mouth) typically has no say. None.
The senate is where the power is. It's why they stick around in there for 40 years or more.

Trump did reverse lot of Obama's policies. Remember all the restrictions Trump overturned? Hell, they even tried to overturn ObamaCare. I'm not saying what's right or what's wrong but they both did this. People were complaining about the fact that Biden taking a day off. Have we forgotten all the golfing trips Trump made (on the taxpayer's dime). Again, just saying to look at all sides before complaining.
The courts declared that Trump's "pen and phone" were weaker than 0bama's.
Now that Biden has inherited 0bama's "pen and phone", of course his are more powerful than Trump's.
