Unions are exactly like governments - except everyone has a known moment when they join the union. When did you or I agree to be ruled by a government?
Unions collect money from the members (dues are theft) and then do whatever they want with it. There is a semblance of "democracy" in voting for the leaders, but after that, the workers have no say.
Just like my taxes go to fund degenerates and other fucks that can't get off their asses to make their own way in the world.
Was in teamsters 3 mos ,,i quit when they told me who to vote for! Fuck them
Giving worker money to a political party is pretty fucking bad, but telling workers how to vote is fucking insane.
A church loses their non-profit status if they tell anyone how to vote, yet the unions forcibly threaten workers how to vote and that's fine.
Corruption needs to meet a violent end.
except everyone has a known moment when they join the union. When did you or I agree to be ruled by a government?
You "agree" to be ruled by a government at birth. You "agree" to be ruled by a union when you get a job. After all, it's not their fault they campaigned for laws awarding them a monopoly in a whole bunch of industries.
Heck, unions are worse than governments in some ways: They can demand dues from you, then declare you're not "in good standing" (ie. not compliant) and refuse you voting rights.
So are you saying that because my bitch ass dad and cunt whore mom got me to this forgotten place with hellish leader set out to destroy me i agreed to be ruled? Seems like i will have to become a villain after all....
btw werent unions run/made by the mafia?
I was using "agreed" in a highly sarcastic manner.
And yes they were/are. Even if they weren't they'd still be protection rackets.
They definitely share many smiliarities
But, there are many jobs that do not have unions.
So yes, if you choose a job that is unionized, then you are forced to join the union.
I did not choose to be born, and definitely did not consent to be ruled by any government. Joining by birth is the cop-out answer and completely ludicrous.
Because unions have become so corrupt, many states now have killed that power by making dues optional or even allowing workers to join or not join the union while at a union job.
Sounds a lot like being able to choose could keeps things just a bit more honest.
Not much of a choice tbh. Plus, the state goal of the union movement is to control all jobs. So scrabbling for the shrinking scraps they've left behind isn't much of a choice.
Sounds a lot like being able to choose could keeps things just a bit more honest.
Yes, absolutely. Competition is highly effective at torching out corruption, which is probably why unions and socialists in general hate it. The same should also apply to governments. You should be able to switch government, or make a new one, as easily as switching cable company.
