I guess for others its caused by fear of a reality more bitter than what youve already been forced to accept.

That and the belief that not all the apples could be bad when there is so many of them. That may be fair to say of groups that people just happen to classify as. However with governments and organisations they have an active filtration system.

The genuinely good is rejected or broken while the more immoral you are the easier it is to please more people. Without a rigid moral system you are more free to make alliances with all types and do whatever dirty deed is needed to overtake others.

I think what's going on is they're prepping to take the guns. They think that when they pass the laws, they'll be targeted, and they're correct.

EDIT: I don't want violence, but I want to keep my liberty (what's left of it). So, what would you do if it looked like a government was about to take your guns and throw you in concentration camps (covid camps)? Would you start killing those trying to imprison you? What's the option?

Nothing says this building represents the will of the people quite like a massive wall to keep them out. I really like the lack of subtlety. Its also excellent forshadowing for his pre planned untimely death that will be used to fully justify hell on Earth govermental measures too.

I would love for the capitol to be sectioned off, and states to just do silent goodbyes. Biden would be president of a 10 square mile swamp. Heck, its still unreal to me that a detached part of DC can rule over Montana, or even Idaho. I know we have technology, but it still feels surreal to me. It's so far away, and what we the people here need, is NOT what the people of the North East need. Fun fact: DC was originally built on a swamp, because it lies next to the Potomac river.
