It appears that an anon on /pol/ was just trying to unload some crappy laptops for big bucks, but then it turned into something else entirely. Claimed that laptops listed with serial number 'TPW P4-15-NB' had dirt on Hillary. The Q idea grew from there and then others claimed to be the true source. From then on it took on a life of its own.

Shocking really. People were desperate to see Hillary hang and so believed anything. From there, they continued believing into this very day... and now we've lost the republic.
