Voat was built on Microsoft tech, .NET. They ported the already struggling codebase to .NET on Linux out of necessity for cost. It was still too expensive for one guy to fund out of pocket.

That said, the companies which process payments in jew money all stopped doing business with Voat. They wanted nothing to do with us. Putt couldn't take donations anymore. I wanted to donate more, but I also don't believe in the funny money known as bitcoin.
