I keep hearing this but not only is there no proof that Putt was sitting on piles of cash but it's there's no way VOAT was generating excess money. It couldn't even begin to cover operating costs. That's why the angel investor pulled out; they couldn't make any money.

.... Voat's bitcoin wallet had surpassed 300 bitcoin in holdings. When voat was killed it had something like 130 IIRC.

I've seen a lot of figures thrown out about how much money there was but I've never seen actual proof.
