80M with the *potential* to fight -- 1% of that is 800,000 people. 800,000 / 50 states = 16,000 people per state. 600,000 people died in the civil war... I've only compared just *1%* of those people -- think about that. New York is the only state in the whole country that has more police than 16,000. Now factor in police whose jobs are only clerical, and ones who will side with conservatives or just abandon their role. Next factor in people that didn't vote but will side with conservatives.
