I haven't used IRC for 20 years. Thinking of getting back into it. ircii under linux with screen so I can reconnect from anywhere. Should we setup a poal IRC channel; on EFNET? What are our options now.

we used it to share files directly between clients as well, via DCC (Direct Chat Connection).
