In a practical sense, they are. They can’t be bothered with discerning the truth, so they give in to power.
They're just pawns, moist automatons. In terms of resources, they are more like livestock than humans. Rather than the problem, they're the battlefield, and we're totally outgunned in the weaponized messaging department. We have to bypass it in some way, and exploit the linguistic programming that has already been prepared for the rulers of this world.
