I mean, that's literally exactly what you want the police guarding congress to do. What other actions were they supposed to take? Just allow those people to break through the barricade and then do whatever they're planning to do once they're inside? If those people had broken through the barricade and then injured members of Congress, what then? We were supposed to just let them through?....

This whole thing was ridiculously violent. It's amazing the police didn't kill more of them...

Try asking the leftist what they think the result would be for them, if without warning, they shot and killed someone who was unarmed and was not making any threats because said tresspasser was trying to enter their office space. Many states have a duty to retreat from armed and threatening tresspassers, and this person was neither. Murder 2 at the least for the leftist (or at least it should be, if not for a Soros DA).

Yep. I tried to show him that but he pretty much says. "Yeah they're important they're congressman." And that "you can't ignore what these people were doing at the time. This was a literal attempted violent takeover of thr government.". Lol
