Since about 80 years ago, people are only allowed into office or positions of power if they are part of "the club". They are bribed and blackmailed. Bought and pocketed. Threatened and rewarded.
We live in a bizarre neo-feudal system. Us "lower class" are essentially peasants. The blue blood types like Trump still operate as if it's 1200 AD, marrying their children into other powerful families to form alliances. In Trump's case, he gave his daughter over to the Kushner family, likely as a symbolic "bending of the knee" to Kushner.
And who does Kushner work for?
