The problem is that "we", the citizens, are sold a lie, and "we" feel that we are helping "oppressed" people. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Only recently though, Vietnam and Korea were legit wars because communism, well until they pulled MacArthur's leash and wouldn't let him continue into China. I would be ok with continuing to help truly oppressed people but they have to find some other way of asking for the help, much like Hong Kong is doing now. AND, our condition for help being that country must draft a replica of OUR constitution or no deal, no more going off to these garbage dump countries and walking away leaving similarly run garbage governments to themselves that quickly fail or become corrupt.
