I think everyone was already disillusioned by the republicans, but now it's clear from their complicity in this fraudulent election, if it wasn't obvious before, that they are part and parcel of the swamp. What needs to be done now is a clean sweep of all of them, and a new political party created, the Patriot Party. The mid-term elections can be the start of a rebuilding of our government.

This only works if it’s Trump’s idea and starts with him. He’s the one with a mass of followers. Even then it might not work because he’s not looking like a winner right now, not to mention it would be a massive fight and not a sure thing.

I do agree it’s a reasonable option worth thinking about, and also that “splitting the base” is a very real concern.

Yeah, I agree with you that Trump could get a new party off the ground. And 'splitting the base' is a concern.
