The dems have been saying impeach trump for years. Everything out of their mouth is negative, giving them an excuse just means you know how they will attempt to smear you.

Agree, dems aren't afraid. I just wrote to my Congress coward rep and let them know that I plan not to pretend to vote in elections for republicans anymore, that I will join the major branch of the uniparty (dems) since republican party is irrelevant. From within the dem party I either find the most conservative one or vote in the worst candidate one that will (in theory in a fair election) lose to a true conservative Republican. I also plan on then switching for general elections to go independent (or possibly LIbertarian, we'll see) so that uniparty knows they CAN'T count on me for votes.
