Cops have *never* been your friend, and if you ever thought so (no offense) you're retarded, or just grew up drinking the cool-aid. We don't have Officers of the Peace, we have jack-boots. As long as they have qualified immunity and the host of other legal protections that allow bad cops to rape, murder, beat, steal from and harass the honest citizenry without consequence, cops will stay your enemy.
