After Russia and China capitulated to embrace capitalist economic system, Cuba and North Korea are still hard core commie countries. Since it goes against common sense, I can only think that they are obeying to their masters who ordered them to stay communist.

North Korea is China's lap dog, and not allowed to be absorbed by South Korea.
