What's your point? It's worthwhile to bar foreign terrorists from entering the country even if the terror organization already has members within our borders. Obviously letting in more terrorists would be worse.

I see a false sense of security by pretending that we are "an island of bliss surrounded by seas of misery." I also think that, unlike German Dachau guards, there are no card carrying members of Antifa, which functions a lot more like Anonymous.

How is officially declaring them a threat "a false sense of security"? Clearly the reason is to give immigration officials stronger tools to deny entry to terrorists to make it harder for them to slither in through other various legal channels.

If you look at the list of designated terrorist organizations it's mostly groups that don't have "card carrying members". We rely on our intelligence network and foreign allies to help figure out who is associated with those groups. No foreigner is entitled to entry into the US. There is no down side whatsoever to labeling them a terrorist organization.
